An Intersection of Gifts, Joys, and Experiences: Women’s Circle
In the last few years, I’ve been working on something quietly but steadily. The idea first came to me back in 2018, while reflecting on what brings me the most joy in my work, in my life, and what was at the intersection between the two.
At the time, I was also becoming a mother for the first time. I had already been doing executive coaching, but now, the idea of "work-life balance" had taken on a whole new meaning. I couldn’t fully see the change as it was happening, but looking back, it was foundational. As they say, babies really change everything!
Somewhere in the swirl of professional growth and personal change, I felt a pull. I wanted to build something that didn’t just reflect what I was good at, but something that reflected what I believed in. A space where women could come together, not to be fixed or directed, but to be seen and supported. A space for real coaching, real conversation, and real clarity.
And, Circle was Born
What emerged was Circle: a women’s leadership development experience and coaching cohort that would center wisdom, connection, and space. From the start, I knew it couldn’t only be about me delivering content. I wanted to create a space where women could learn to coach one another, practicing the art of deep listening and reflection from both sides of the table.
The name “Circle” came from that vision: a leadership experience that focused on being communal rather than hierarchical. A flow of energy and support moving from woman to woman, with each person contributing to the transformation of the whole of the group.
I sent out some emails. Nothing formal, just notes to people I knew and trusted. And by the grace of good timing and real relationships, it resonated. Friends of friends passed it along. Four women said yes. And just like that, the first Circle was born.
