Retreat Details
-
Our retreats are intentionally designed to offer connection and renewal in a short window of time. We choose each location based on a few important factors: access to natural beauty, ease of flying in and out, distance for our participants, and—perhaps most importantly—the interests and needs of the women who join us. Because our time together is so precious, we prioritize minimizing travel while ensuring that we're immersed in inspiring, restorative environments. It’s a delicate balance, but one that makes all the difference.
We've gathered in some truly beautiful places:
Park City, Utah, where we hiked the mountain trails together.
Driftwood, Texas, just outside Austin in the scenic Texas Hill Country, where we walked alongside the river.
Most recently, Edisto Island, South Carolina, where the highlight was a two-hour meditative beach walk along Boneyard Beach at Botany Bay.
Rather than staying in hotels, we rent a private home to create a more intimate and welcoming atmosphere. We also bring along a dedicated host who helps set the tone with special touches—think fresh flowers, welcome drinks, cozy spaces—and who lovingly prepares all of our meals. The intent is to create a space where you feel truly nurtured from the moment you arrive.
-
Retreat dates are confirmed once the group is formed and we’ve gathered availability. We aim to hold the opening retreat in October or early November 2025, and the closing retreat in mid-April 2026. Locations are selected based on accessibility, natural beauty, and conducive space for reflection and connection.
-
While retreats are a cornerstone of the experience, we understand that unavoidable conflicts happen. Participants must commit to attending both retreats unless a serious conflict arises. If you foresee a possible conflict, please contact us early to discuss options.
-
All meals, lodging, and program facilitation are included in the program cost. Participants are responsible for travel to and from the retreat location. Most U.S.-based flights fall in the $300–$600 range. We do our best to select retreat venues that minimize travel time and cost.
Core Program Components
-
ERG programs are essential—but they often lack the depth, intimacy, and sustained support this Leadership Circle provides. ERGs can be great for networking and community, but they’re rarely designed for transformative leadership growth. This is a professionally facilitated program with women from other industries, structured retreats, coaching sessions, and real leadership development outcomes—not an affinity group or internal forum.
-
Mentorship is valuable—but coaching circles are fundamentally different. In mentorship, someone more experienced gives advice. In a coaching circle, we create a structure of peer support that draws out each person’s wisdom. We focus on asking powerful questions, not offering quick answers. It’s not about advice-giving. It’s about deeper insight, new habits, and personal transformation.
-
Executive coaching offers a personalized space for reflection, strategy, and growth. Participants gain clarity on their goals, identify limiting patterns, and experiment with new ways of leading. Over time, this translates to better decisions, stronger presence, and more meaningful impact.
-
Peer coaching uses a structured process to tap into the wisdom of the group. Participants bring real challenges and receive powerful questions and reflections from their peers. This builds trust, accountability, and cross-industry insight—and cultivates a practice of deep listening and courageous growth.
-
PQ stands for "Positive Intelligence," a research-based framework that integrates neuroscience, performance psychology, and mindfulness. It helps leaders build mental fitness by strengthening the part of the brain that handles challenges with curiosity, creativity, and clarity—while quieting the inner saboteurs that trigger fear, stress, or self-doubt.
Additional Information
-
This isn’t about exclusion—it’s about shared context. Most people learn to adapt how they speak, behave, or lead in different spaces. In this Circle, that effort is minimized. A helpful example may be:: a male leader I coach shared how spending time hunting or at the rodeo with his buddies felt restorative—“guys stuff,” as he said—and he didn’t have to filter his language or manage impressions. He could just be himself. That’s the kind of space we create here. It’s not about who’s in or out—it’s about letting down your guard so you can get to the real work of leading with clarity, strength, and heart.
